Last year I went on holiday to the Spanish Jávea. Chances are you've never heard of this, me neither had heard of it before going there.  Jávea town Jávea is as I said a small Spanish town located in the province of Alicante.  Jávea consists of 3 parts: the old village center, the harbor and the Arenal. In the old village center we still find the typical Spanish narrow streets and beautiful old facades. Here is the town hall, the church, the post office, several shops and the market is also held here every Thursday. The harbor area is a bit more modern and there are also several shops and restaurants here. In addition, you can enjoy walking along the water, have something to eat or drink and of course visit the harbor itself and the fish auction. The Arenal is the touristic part of Jávea, here is also the sandy beach and a pleasant boulevard with shops, restaurants and bars. A day in the life of Eefje

When I am on vacation I have a routine that is the same almost every day. I will tell you that routine in this blog. Today is a normal poolday, I get up around 10 a.m. When I wake up, I go for breakfast. Usually my father has already  it, but if he hasn't, I usually make it. When that happens I eat my breakfast. When I have done that  I change for the pool. When I've done that, I grab my things and walk to the pool. I go there to sunbathe and swim. When it's lunchtime I usually get some at the pool bar, eat it and go back to sunbathing and swimming. Around 5 o'clock I go back to the house where I stay to take a shower and get ready for dinner. When I've done that, we go out for dinner at a restaurant nearby. Then we stay for a while and then go back to the hotel. Sometimes when there is something to do we go to a club to party there. Summer 2021

Will we be back on the Costa Brava this summer vacation? Costa brava Last year was a terrible year. The coronavirus came into play. Holidays were cancelled, you were no longer allowed to go to another country and everything was closed. Nobody wants something like that anymore. Gradually everything starts to go back to 'normal'. As it looks now, it is possible to go to Spain again during the summer holidays. But is this really so smart? I think everyone is ready for a holiday abroad, at least I am. But if everyone goes on holiday, will we still get such a large lockdown due to all the infections or is everything so well arranged that it should be okay?  If you go on vacation now, it won't be the same as 3 years ago. Chances are you'll have to wear a mask and sit in a club instead of standing among the thousands of people.
